The Reiki energy modality is a safe, gentle and noninvasive supportive tool that soothes the nervous system. Reiki may promote feelings of nurturance, relaxation, calmness and excitement. Reiki reduces discomfort, pain, stress and anxiety. Often, the feedback I hear from clients suggests that the creative process flows more effortlessly, empowering individuals on their wellness journey in holistic ways. As a registered nurse, my natural Reiki abilities encompass attention to the unique wholeness of every individual, with reference to basics of science: biology, anatomy, physiology and a solid understanding of psychology through the lenses of Abraham Maslow, creator of the Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs – the foundation of modern medicine and the nursing profession. I have spent years trying to understand the energy field, what chakras are and how this is all related to humanity’s and nature’s overall wellbeing. I offer the option of choosing Reiki energy work on its own, or if more depth is desired, wellness energy field coaching can be combined in a session. Wellness coaching focuses on ways to enhance the energy field while maintaining a practical focus on aligning the physical body, emotions, mental states and spirituality. With closer alignment, living the full potential in the moment is a reasonable possibility – on a daily basis. With steadier footing and a flexible mind, coping with emotions becomes a gracious healing journey. I am honored to serve as a Reiki helper and guide for others. My mission is to empower you to be your most authentic, natural, sustaining self. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welcome to Mellow Elements, a practice dedicated to gentle support and empowerment. My focus is preventative well-being, health maintenance and promoting comfort at the end-of-life. I offer Reiki support, wellness coaching, end-of-life doula care, sustainability education & support, as well as Usui Reiki Healing System training and chakra education workshops. I have been an Usui Reiki Practitioner since 2013, and practicing as a third degree practitioner since 2017. I have studied life coaching, herbal medicine, shamanic journeying, metaphysics and continue to seek ongoing knowledge each day. I am deeply passionate about holistic, natural healing modalities, and have a strong enthusiasm towards biology, as well as communing with the natural world. I obtained a registered nurse license in 2010, and currently am honored to serve as a hospice nurse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
